Our story
It all started in 2008, when Rob Hughes decided to combine his experiences in marketing and recruitment in Japan.
Back then, the culture of recruitment was far removed from the creative industries. AP Global Talent set out to be different from the start: more flexible, more relaxed, more attuned to the cultural trends shaping Japan’s relationship with the world.
The team grew and was based for several years in Shibuya. With the shift to remote work and distributed teams, AP Global Talent changed too. We now cover Japanese-speaking roles worldwide.
