Description
Our client, an international fashion brand, is looking for talented bi-lingual marketing professionals to play a key role in the Japan Marketing team.
The ideal candidate thrives in a bilingual and fast-paced environment, adapts well to changing situations, detail-oriented and able to propose a plan while juggling priorities.
The candidate must be a self-starter, team player and a leader. The role will require an ability to gather and streamline information, and proactiveness to create a cohesive marketing plan to increase awareness and desirability while also meeting commercial targets. This role will report to Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
Campaign planning & management (communication strategy and planning)
- Develop & lead campaigns: develop a communication strategy, set priorities, plan communication timeline, manage deliveries and chase approvals to execute successful rollout of both global and local campaigns
- Take ownership of and lead cross functional communication, inform and collaborate with all relevant teams within Japan and headquarters
- Download key information from cross functional partners and stakeholders concerning business situations, understand how Marketing can contribute to the business, and suggest and execute potential actions
- Able to confidently present proposals & campaigns to cross functional stakeholders in Japan and headquarter teams
- Develop reports and recaps for key campaigns and projects
Content management
- Download headquarter communication plan, share with local teams, and feedback to reflect local priorities and needs
- Collaborate with headquarter e-merchandising and online content team to create original content for Japan local campaigns and activations
- Collaborate with headquarter e-merchandising, online content, IT, and CRM teams to fix any bugs or make improvements in UX
- Organize and facilitate with production team on local content needs when local campaign / contents are produced
Project Management
- Support the managing of internal and external production projects, ensuring all content assets are delivered on time and budget
- Manage & track production timelines, project deliverables and resourcing needs, navigating competing priorities and escalating to manager accordingly
- Create and manage budgets, negotiating fees and expenses, ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Assist headquarter teams on any requests concerning Japanese translation
- Create English copy briefs for press release, website, and paid ad copies for local campaigns and initiatives
- Manage copy approvals by headquarters for local initiatives
Campaign/Content Production Management
- Liaise and assist producer with communications to key external production members such as directors, photographers, stylists, production companies, animators, editors, music companies, agents and other industry associations.
- Facilitate and lead the adaptations of global content to regional marketing plans, assisting in the production of global deliverables
- Support producer and marketing manager in confirming, organizing and consolidating deliverables for global and local campaign moments.
Requirements
3-10 years of working experience in marketing or advertising, preferably with fashion and/or luxury brand experience
Japanese native and English business fluency in both speaking and writing
Strong sense of leadership, teamwork and ownership
Adept in creating documents with Microsoft Office and Google applications
Quick learner and self-starter
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Excellent task management and time management skills
Able to perform in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment
Has grit: proactive, goal-oriented, purpose-driven and passionate
