Marketing Director

Founded over 30 years ago with 10 plus years presence in the Japan market this company is the leading provider in its field of niche software solutions to the manufacturing industry.

Currently looking for a Marketing Director with B2B marketing experience to join the team in Japan and work closely with the President.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring a localized marketing action plan based on the corporate strategic directions and business objectives.
• Undertaking continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends and using the results to tweak the marketing plan.
• Sharing insights with the leadership team in Japan and at the headquarters through reporting, market research, and analysis.
• Working closely with the company’s Sales team, and Technical Team enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools and marketing content.
• Participating in the development of marketing material with headquarters.
• Ensuring that the quality of the marketing material, of the events, and of the communications campaigns comply with the corporate standards.
• Ensuring that branding cohesiveness exists across all platforms and touchpoints.
• Overseeing all marketing activities: establish priorities, manage work organization, and supervise the work of employees on the local Marketing team.
• Keeping abreast of the latest trends and best practices regarding marketing in Japan.
• Planning the action plan and the budget for marketing activities.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in marketing
• Excellent management and leadership skills, will lead a team of 2 others.
• Strong aptitude for high impact data-driven insights
• Very good understanding of digital marketing and offline marketing
• Significant experience in working within a business-to-business (B2B) environment
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Very good English skills (spoken and written)
