Description

Our client, an international  fashion brand, is looking for talented bi-lingual marketing professionals to play a key role in the Japan Marketing team.

The ideal candidate thrives in a bilingual and fast-paced environment, adapts well to changing situations, detail-oriented and able to propose a plan while juggling priorities.

The candidate must be a self-starter, team player and a leader. The role will require an ability to gather and streamline information, and proactiveness to create a cohesive marketing plan to increase awareness and desirability while also meeting commercial targets. This role will report to Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

Communication strategy and planning
• Strive for the highest understanding of the brand mission, business goals and challenges, in order to set clear
strategies and prioritization for each project/opportunity/launches
• Develop & pitch for a 360 project plan with clear communication strategy and timeline.
• Create and pitch plans, create powerful & engaging briefs for locally-led projects
• Manage deliveries and internal approvals of content for key launches and campaigns
• Collect & streamline key information concerning business situations, share with wider team and suggest
potential actions

Content planning & facilitations
• Collaborate with headquarter e-com teams to plan the content rollout and priorities
• Assist headquarter teams in on any requests concerning global
initiatives taking place in Japan or facilitation of communication with collaborators based in Japan
• Create English copy briefs for press release, and paid ad copies for local campaigns and initiatives
• Support facilitation of cross-functional meetings
• Inform and collaborate with all relevant teams within Japan and headquarters
• Work with copywriter to facilitate copywriting/translation requests to external copywriters, give feedback and
manage approval process

E-commerce management - third-party
• Lead campaign rollout from pitching to third-party teams, creating communication plan and timeline,
understanding merchandising strategy and KPIs, registering product information, delivering copy and visual
assets, and being responsible for project management

Requirements

We are looking for a candidates who have / are
• 4+ years of working experience, preferably in areas related to Marketing, experience in a media / advertising agency ideally
• Japanese and English native fluency in both speaking and writing
• Strong sense of leadership, teamwork and ownership
• Adept in creating documents with Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent task management and time management skills
• Able to perform in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment
• Grit: goal-oriented, purpose-driven, and passionate

Skills that are nice to have
• Creative writing skills in English
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
