Description
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist for one of the biggest and international Advertising Agencies in Japan.
In this role you will partner with social analysts, account managers, and content experts who work on global accounts, such as a mega-star fashion brand or one of the most cutting-edge car brands & more.
Responsibilities
- Assist with creation, conception, and presentation of social media strategy, integrated marketing campaigns managing, and growing brands presence through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LINE etc.
- Manage the distribution of organic content on owned social channels & provide live coverage at key events throughout the year
- Manage influencer marketing, social led event planning, content partnerships etc
- Participation in shoots for social content to ensure the short list is executed
- Community management – User Interaction with specialized software and related tools
- Respond to comments when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community
- Produce social media listening by using measurements tools and engagement reports for internal and external teams. Gather insights to inform campaigns
- Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable, client-facing reports that lead to optimization.
- Ideal - is able to use photoshop skills and video skills when required to create content.
Requirements
- You will need a minimum 5-6+ years related experience, including time working in the social media in Japan.
- Knowledge of all the major social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LINE, YouTube and Instagram. Knowledge of how social fits into digital landscape is a plus.
- Strong team management skills, ensuring the team is supported and clear about the campaign & always-on aims and their roles in achieving this.
- Strong client management skills, meaning the client is confident in the consultancy provided; work is delivered on time and to a high standard; targets are reached.
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to plan campaigns, manage day to day tasks while still considering long term aims and targets.
- You will be interested in the latest paid techniques across social media and have experience in planning paid campaigns, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- Ideally can lead a team and constructively advise them on how to do social better for clients.
- Be familiar with Business Manager and Ads Manager to set up and optimize paid social campaigns.
- Have good understanding of the influencer marketing landscape.
- Can support the Head of Social in growing the business and the team, whilst taking care of key growth accounts
