Description

A new global Experiential Marketing Agency is opening an office in Tokyo and is looking for a Creative Strategist.

You’ll be responsible for collaborating with the creative team through insightful strategies and creative copywriting to ensure the delivery of extraordinary ideas through B2B and B2C integrated experiences including, but not limited to, live, digital and social activations.

Responsibilities

  • The Creative Strategist will work closely with the creative team to spearhead the development of wining strategies for our clients, inspiring creative and effective online and offline brand experiences that connect with their audiences in the most meaningful ways.
  • You seek knowledge and truth in brand, culture and consumers to inspire creative ideas that will make a difference.
  • You’ll collaborate with Creative Directors to develop unique insights and creative ideas that excite clients and ensure delivery of effective and measurable brand experiences
  • You’ll support the development of integrated campaigns, communication strategies and copywriting based on business goals and objectives/

Requirements

  • At least 5-8 years of creative experience in a brand marketing, PR or relevant agency
  • Possess a strategic and creative mindset with a strong ability to see the big picture and translate creative concepts into actionable campaigns that will meet the clients’ business objectives
  • Bi-lingual with an excellent command of written and spoken English and Japanese, with proven experience in the development of key messages in Japanese across different mediums and formats.
  • Prior exposure to / strong working knowledge of experiential, content, integrated campaigns and/or communication strategies in both B2B and B2C environments
  • Strong in-depth knowledge of brand positioning and industry trends
  • Strong drive to deliver world class brand experience and integrated campaigns that includes social media, PR and other online and offline activations
  • Excellent creative presentation skills and a passion for building open and trusting relationships with clients and team members
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to work on multiple projects at any given time and deliver within stipulated deadlines
  • Can demonstrate the ability to input and voice your point of view
  • Good organisational skills, and excellent communications skill
  • You are based in Japan.

Salary & Benefits

  • Base salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.
  • Annual discretionary bonus.
