Data Scientist

A small boutique strategic digital agency is looking to appoint a Data Scientist in Tokyo.

In this role you will provide deep subject matter expertise to clients and the agency, to proactively manage and develop solutions.

The agency is an up-and-coming small digital boutique that specializes in developing marketing strategies. It has a very hands-on consulting approach with clients to develop business orientated solutions.

• Connecting marketing challenges to data / analytical solutions
• Investigating key analytical questions
• Using tools and methods to solve key questions

• Hands on data science experience
  • The ability to code in one or more of the following (SAS, R, Python, SQL)
  • Familiarity with relational DBs, data management, reporting systems (MySQL, Hadoop)
  • Fluency with a variety of analytical techniques- machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, statistics, statistical analysis Clogistic regression, linear regression, principle components, others)

• Communication
  • The ability to present and explain complex analytics and the value outcome to clients
  • The ability to partner with other team members (strategy, client partnership to translate insight and analytical outcomes to compelling presentations.)
