Producer

Our client, a major global luxury brand is looking for a Producer to join its team.

You will be a key member of the global marketing and creative production initiative. With the rapid growth and expansion of marketing activities and contents, they are looking for a Production Manager that would be responsible in ensuring all production efforts that take place in Japan, whether it is stills, films or physical and digital experiences.

• Lead, plan, and manage internal and external production projects, ensuring all content assets are delivered on time and budget
• Lead conversations to align cross functional teams and key stakeholders in regards to production matters
• Effectively and intelligently set and monitor overall production timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs, navigating competing priorities and escalating accordingly
• Create and manage budgets, negotiating fees and expenses, being the main responsible for all finance related matters of given projects
• Manage team members’ resource allocation to ensure that key projects are met with right amount of resources and prioritizations
• Proactively recognize cross-functional blockers, challenges and workflow constraints and providing operational solutions
• Ability to put together a production plan, its creative proposals, casting and creative briefs to production teams
  Liaise between our company and top-class talents, directors, photographers, stylists, production companies, animators, editors, music companies, agents and other industry associations
• Facilitate the adaptations of global content to regional marketing plans, assisting in the production of global deliverables
• Keep an established network of world-class production, photography, illustration, animation, editing, sound-design, music composers, etc

• A minimum of 6 years of experience acting as a producer in a creatively-driven environment, managing large scale productions – moving, still formats and interactive - of high-quality creative projects for multiple marketing verticals/ clients
• Has experience producing content for a Luxury brand or another brand with similar values
• Experience working across multiple channels & deliverables
• Possesses an intellectual curiosity for fashion, culture, arts and craft
• Has strong communication and analytical skills – Fluency in Japanese and English is required
• Pride one’s self in the ability to quickly adapt and find scrappy solutions in a rapidly changing/growing business
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong budget management & senses on costs
• Possess strong business acumen & cultural sensibilities in order to navigate the creative direction to work well for the market
• Always strive towards the best, curious to learn/gain new skills, and eager to grow further as a professional with a can-do spirit
• Desire to grow towards leadership roles, acquire strategic &/or creative planning expertise is a plus

• Full-time position with social insurance, travel allowance, etc.
• Salary negotiable according to experience but highly competitive for this level of position
